Zellon Donald

Zellon Wright Donald, 85, of 164 Bunche Street, died Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 22, 1925, in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Eben Carlton and Cora Jones Wright. She was of the Baptist faith and loved music and playing the guitar. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, William C. Donald; a daughter, Karen L. Donald of Cowpens; a brother, Carl Wright, Jr. of Spartanburg; loving nieces and nephews; and a loving friend, Christine Phillips. She was predeceased by three brothers, Wardlaw, Kenneth, and Robert Wright; four sisters, Desmer Brown, Thelma Burnett, Bina Gallman, and Audrey Hughey. Gravesides services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2010, at Springhill Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. A. Howard Smith. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
