Xong Yang Her, 77, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, April 25, 2021 at her home. Born February 22, 1944, in Laos, she was the daughter of the late, Ntxoov Vaag Yaaj and Pla Her Yang and widow of Bla Py Her.
Mrs. Her was a tailor with Walker Towel & Uniform Service in Kansas City, MO and a member of New Life Upstate Church in Boiling Springs, SC.
Survivors include her sons, Timothy Hawj, Ted Hawj and Jonathan Hawj; daughters, Mai (Maim) Yang and Mai (Maiv) Yang; 25 grandchildren, and sister, Mee Thao. She was predeceased by a daughter, May Yang, and sisters, May Yang Her, Joua Yang Her; brothers, Nchaiv Lwm Yaaj, Laj Zaag Yaaj, Ntsuab Lauj Yaaj, & Paaj Ntxawg Yaaj.
Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 PM Friday, May 7, 2021 and 9:30 AM-Noon Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will be conducted 4:30-8:00 PM Saturday, May 8, 2021, by Pastor David Vang.
Final Funeral services will be 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Friday, May 14, 2021 at Maple Hill Funeral Home, 3300 Shawnee Drive, Kansas City, Kansas 66106
