Wincel "Wendi" Lorene Terry

Wincel Lorene Caruthers Terry, 98, of Pawleys Island, SC, died Thursday, June 8, 2023, 4 days shy of her 99^th birthday, at Arbor Landing at Pawleys.   She was born June 12, 1924 in Judsonia, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Joe and Della Castlebarry Caruthers.

Ms. Terry owned and operated a boarding care center for disabled children and adults.  She was an avid bowler and of the Christian faith. 

Survivors are a sister, Melba Huff of Pawleys Island; several nieces and nephews along with great nieces, nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, June 18, 2023 2:00 PM at Westwood Memorial Gardens, 6101 Reidville Road, Moore, SC 29369, conducted by The Rev. Dr. James C. Hilton.
