Wilson Lewis Freeman, 75, of Boiling Springs, SC died Friday, October 29, 2021 at his home. Born March 28, 1946 in Union, SC, he was the son of the late Lewis and Mary Jane Small Freeman and the husband of the late Christine Freeman.
Wilson was a huge sports fan who loved the South Carolina Gamecocks and an avid softball player for Flowers Baking Company and Perrigo Company, as well as for traveling teams. His whole life was centered around Emily and Corey. He loved animals.
Survivors include his children, Emily C. Freeman (Sara) of Carmel, Indiana and Corey S. Freeman of Charlotte, NC, Tabitha Byrum of Spartanburg, SC and Christie Smith of Spartanburg, SC, and his cousin, Ken Palmer of Union, SC.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery, 1551 Bryant Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. A Graveside service will be at 12:00 Noon in the cemetery, conducted by Ken Palmer.
