Wilma Horton Huntsinger, 77, of Inman, died Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born September 23, 1932, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Roy Herman Horton and Gene Virginia Henderson and the wife of the late Horace Huntsinger, Sr. A graduate of Robinson Business College, she was retired from Hoechst Fibers after 20 years of service. She was a member of Restoration Church and a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors include a son, Horace "Butch" Huntsinger, Jr. of Inman; two daughters, Joyce F. Smith and her husband Ed of Chesnee, and Sandra K. Fowler of Boiling Springs; a sister, Bobbie Quinn of Inman; a brother, Bishop Don Horton and his wife Sara of Spartanburg; three grandsons, Derek Huntsinger and Brandon Huntsinger, both of Inman, and Jason Goode of Columbia, MD; two granddaughters, Victoria Gragg of Boiling Springs, and Katie Racine of Germany; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Audrey Goode. Visitation will be 2:00-3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by Bishop Don Horton and Dr. Tony Cribb. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at their respective homes.
