Wilma Switzer Caldwell, 85, died Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born March 21, 1925, in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Rosalee Switzer and the wife of the late John Marvin Caldwell. She was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Rita Fox (Louie) of Inman, SC, Rhonda Jolley of Roebuck, and Roxie Worthy (Dale) of Pacolet, SC; a son, John Caldwell (Brenda) of Spartanburg; a brother, Willis Switzer of Franklin, VA; a brother-in-law, Henry Caldwell (Joan) of Spartanburg; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary "Polly" Lee; and three brothers, Edward, Dean, and David Switzer. Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Roebuck Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Tim Williams and the Rev. Jack Caldwell. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home.
