Wilma Inez Crocker Brown, 85, of 285 Glen Crest Drive and formerly of 9108 Asheville Highway, Spartanburg, died Friday, February 18, 2011, at her home. Born June 29, 1925, in Whitney, SC, she was the daughter of Forest and Addie Rose McCalister Crocker and was married for 57 years to the late James A. B. Brown. She was retired from Abbot Laboratories and was a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg, where she was a member of the Georgia McAbee Sunday School Class. Survivors include her son, James Ronald Brown and wife Roxanne of Moore; a granddaughter, Erin Shay Brown of Easley, SC; a grandson, Jason Douglas Brown of Atlanta, GA; three brothers Ed Crocker and wife Ruth of Fort Mill, SC, Ray Crocker and wife Grace, and Gene Crocker and wife Shirley, all of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by a son, Jerry Wayne Brown, and a brother, Guy Crocker. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2011, at First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg, conducted by the Rev. Al Phillips.
