Willie Lee Hill, 81, of Spartanburg, died Friday, October 22, 2010 at White Oak Manor. Born March 1, 1929 in Polk County, NC, he was the son of the late Clody Brasco and Docie Randolph Hill and the husband of the late Minnie Connolly "Nolie" Humphries Hill. He was an automobile mechanic, a Mason, a Shriner, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Boiling Springs, and a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include a son, Roger L. Hill and wife Emily of Spartanburg; a brother, Clody "Junior" Hill of Spartanburg; two sisters Thelma H. Thomason and Betty H. Cannon of Spartanburg and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Leanne Hill and Travis James Hill. He was predeceased by an infant son; a grandson, Dallon Lee Hill; and a brother, James Hill. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 25, 2010 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Bishop Len Fletcher. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
