William "Bill" Moseley

William “Bill” Arthur Moseley, 89, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born December 16, 1932 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Oren Baxter and Gladys Connelley Moseley and the husband of the late Rebecca Oree Ballenger Moseley.

Bill was a 33rd Degree Mason and member of St. John's Lodge #333 with Scottish and York Rites. He was a member of Hejaz Shriners Ritualistic Divan, serving as the Director from 1977-1978. Bill was always large supporter of Shriners Hospitals for Children and many area orphanages.

Bill was retired from Crawford Mill Supply Company. He loved to watch NASCAR races and attended many in his younger days. A member of Ben Avon Baptist Church, he was a kind, loving, gentle, sweet man.

Survivors include his daughter, Joan Moseley Britt of Greer, SC; granddaughters, Kala Britt Wilder (Ronnie) of Inman, SC and Chelsea Britt Dill (Joshua) of Chesnee, SC; great-grandchildren, Krislyn Britt-Wilder, Britten Pearson, Christian Solesbee, Nicalaus Dill, and Malorree Solesbee. He was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be at 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022, conducted by The Rev. Tommy Sparks. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
