William Roberts

William George Roberts, 85, of Pacolet, SC, died Friday, September 23, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born May 30, 1931, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Wilburn R. and Elsia Bell Caldwell Roberts and widower of Velma JoAnn Ballard Roberts. He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Pacolet, SC. Survivors include sister-in-law's, Monte Reaves and Helen Ruth Oxley, both of Spartanburg, SC; Juanita B. Brown of Boiling Springs, SC and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2016, in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, conducted by the Rev. Andrew Carrigan.
