William Pearman Jr.

William Jesse Pearman, Jr., 81, of Moore, SC, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 8, 1935, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late William Jesse Pearman, Sr. and Marie Gordon Pearman. Mr. Pearman was a graduate of Fairforest High School and Spartanburg Junior College. He was employed for 25 years with Fairforest Finishing, 3 years with American Fast Print, and retired from Michelin after 22 years of service. He was a member of the "Pickers and Grinners" and former member of Green Street Baptist Church and The Bridge to First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Greer Pearman; daughter, Traci Marie Worthy (Scott) of Roebuck, SC; son, William Trevis Pearman (Mary Anne Sherbert) of Wellford, SC; two grandsons, Trevis Tyler Pearman and William Blain (Dell); two great-grandchildren, Kaylin Nevaeh Pearman and Scarlett Marie Blain; special canine buddy, Duke; and his feline pal, Squeekie. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by two brothers, Jim Gordon Pearman and Jerry Francis Pearman. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, February 10, 2017, in Westwood Memorial Gardens, 6101 Reidville Rd., Moore, SC 29369, by the Rev. Sal Barone and the Rev. Larry Fleming.
