William Russell Morris

William Russell Morris, 80, of Landrum, South Carolina passed away at his residence on Wednesday, October 02, 2024. William was born to the late Roy and Zelda Morris on April 24,1944 in Landrum, South Carolina.

William owned Buddy's Appliance Services for many years, which brought him both personal fulfillment and a connection with his customers he serviced through out the years. William's interests were diverse as he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often spending his weekends hunting, fishing, or enjoying captivating westerns. A passion for sports shone brightly in his enthusiasm for football and basketball, and he could frequently be found at local yard sales.

William is survived by a son; Cory Morris (Brandy), a daughter; Pamela Massey, five grandchildren; Cortney Knight (Nate), Brianna Morris, Jason Morgan, Victoria Morgan Hammitt (Joseph), Christopher Morgan, five great grandchildren; and three sisters; Brenda Pack (Claudy), Barbara Stott (Harold) and Nancy Ruff (Gladford). William was predeceased by his wife of 63 years Mrs. Rita Morris, His parents; Roy Morris and Zelda McCrain Morris; a son; Dewayne Morris,  and siblings; Bonnie Culbreth, Francis McDaniel, Alma Carruth, Donald Morris and Leroy Morris.
