William Bennett

William Leonard Bennett, 83, of Spartanburg, died peacefully Saturday, December 01, 2012. Born November 30, 1929 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late William M. and Nora Mae Hutchins Bennett and husband of the late Amelia Virginia Graham Bennett. Mr. Bennett was retired from Draper Corporation after 25 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are Debbie and Rolan Littlefield, Susan Bennett; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Ted and Norman Bennett; sisters, Billie Johnson, Joyce Sawyer, and Cheryl Landerth. He was predeceased by a daughter, Teresa Bishop and brother, Wilbur Bennett. Visitation will be 11:00-12:00 Noon Monday, December 3, 2012 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 PM Monday, December 3, 2012 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Daniel Blackwell. Memorials may be sent to Mobile Meals Service, P.O.
