William Isom

William H. Isom, 80, of 424 Longview Street, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Born December 27, 1929 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Marion Eugene and Lillie English Isom and the husband of the late Ina Faye Beck Isom. He retired from Daniel Construction and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include a daughter Rene Easler and husband Steve of Chesnee; two sons, Sandy Isom and wife Norma of Inman and Steve Isom and wife Sue of Spartanburg; two sisters, Eloise Randall and Gail Briscoe, both of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Charles Eugene Isom of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Marguerite Isom. Visitation will be 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. David Lancaster. The family is at their respective homes.
