William Faber Eubanks, 91, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born May 16, 1922, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Emmett and Lila Cathcart Eubanks and husband of the late Vivian Elle Greene Eubanks. Mr. Eubanks was a self-employed business owner and attended Powell Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Arcadia Masonic Lodge 285, a Shriner, and a WWII veteran of the U. S. Army. Surviving are a son, William A. Eubanks of Spartanburg; great-nephew, James L. Eubanks, III and wife Laurel of Boiling Springs; great-great nephew, Jacob Eubanks of Boiling Springs; niece-in-law, JoAnn Eubanks of Spartanburg; and special friends and caregivers, Gerald Lyda, Ronald Lyda, and Donna Schlegeo. Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service with military rites by the SC State Guard Honors Team will follow at 1:30 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev.
