William Clayton

William Lewis "LC" Clayton, 63, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at his home. Born January 6, 1950, in Marion, NC, he was the son of the late Dan Clayton and Velma Clayton Brantley, and husband of the late Patty Clayton. Mr. Clayton was a member of Arcadia Lodge #285, a carpenter, and local dirt-track race car driver. Surviving are his son, Wayne Clayton and his wife Ricki Lynn of Moore, SC; daughter, Annette Lynn Clayton of Spartanburg, SC; grandsons, Andrew Lewis Clayton, Zachary and Austin Stokes; and sister, Diane Derrick of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 10:00-11:45 AM Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Joe Geddes. Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
