William Moore

William H. "Bill" Moore, 79, of Spartanburg, died Monday, January 14, 2013. Born July 27, 1933, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late W. S. and Mary Johnson Moore. Surviving are his loving wife, Mary Jo Allison Moore; children, Susanne Moore of Columbia, SC, Danny Moore (Lisa) of Spartanburg, SC, Mary Ella Brown (Steve) of Greenville, SC, Kenneth Lloyd McKelvey (Rachel) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Leland McKelvey (Ashley) of Spartanburg, SC; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ola Mae Moore of Spartanburg, SC. He was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Rochester. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 PM, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Sparks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at the home.
