William D. "Bill" West, 63, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, February 18, 2013. Born May 21, 1949, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Alfred Henry and Margie Ann Springs West. Mr. West was the retired owner of Bill's Lawn Care and a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Pettit West of Roebuck, SC; daughters, Melissa "Lisa" West of Spartanburg, SC, and Ginger Earnhardt (Andy) of Roebuck, SC; sons, Shannon West of Boiling Springs, SC, and Russ Moore (Jennifer) of Moore, SC; grandchildren, Hyatt West of Spartanburg, SC, Joshua West of Boiling Springs, SC, Belle Moore and Mady Grace Moore, both of Moore, SC, Will Maddox, Colton Earnhardt, and Olivia Earnhardt, all of Roebuck, SC, Kelly Panther and Chris Panther, both of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Dorothy W. Smith, Nancy W. Hallman, and Frieda W. Lipscomb, all of Spartanburg, SC; and brothers, Everette "Buddy" West, Douglas West, and Michael West, all of Spartanburg, SC. He was predeceased by a daughter, Heather Panther; brothers, Burton West, Noel West, and David West; and sisters, Margaret West Bolton and Beverly West. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, February 22, 2013, at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Chris B. Snelgrove. Burial will be in Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family is at their respective homes.
