Willard George

Willard G. George, 68, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at his home. Born September 2, 1943, in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of the late William Starling and Virginia Lucille Horne George. A veteran of the United States Marine Corp, he was also the founder of Crawford Associates Incorporated in Sarasota, Florida. Surviving are his beloved wife, Linda D. George; daughter, Tammy Marie Smith (Dennis); sons, Christopher David George (Allison), and Michael Shane George (Stacie); seven grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Law, Sandra Parton, and Janet George; brothers, Steve George and Henry George; and half-sister, Kay Blackwell. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 PM Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. The family is at the home.
