Wendell Coggins

Wendell Caldwell Coggins, 57, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at his home. Born January 28, 1952, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Helen Hawkins Coggins of Spartanburg and the late Walter W. Coggins. He was formerly employed at the Dialysis Clinic, a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran. Surviving in addition to his mother are two brothers, Jimmy Coggins and his wife Ginger of Inman, and Doug Caldwell; and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone and the Rev. Bill Adams. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. The family is at the home of his mother, Helen H. Coggins, 101 Pine Forest Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
