Wayne Coffin

Wayne Norman Coffin, 73, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at his home. Born January 24, 1941, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late James Price Coffin, Jr. and Naomi Dahms Coffin. He was the V. A. Hospital Credit Union president in Augusta, GA, and of the Methodist faith. Survivors include his sons, Michael Coffin of Columbia, SC, Mark Coffin of Lagrange, GA, Matthew Coffin of Chapin, SC, Ashedon Coffin of Twenty-nine Palms, CA, and Chad Coffin of Spartanburg, SC; eight grandchildren; sisters, Lee Synnestvedt of Glenview, IL, Gail Arnoux of Boynton Beach, FL, and Tina Lee of Greensboro, NC; and brothers, James Price Coffin of Fairhope, AL, Philip Coffin of Montrose, CO, and Bruce Coffin of Montrose, CO. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home Chapel, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303, by Chaplain Andrew Fischer.
