Warren Farmer

Warren O. Farmer, 79, of Pauline, parted this life on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at his residence.  He was born on June 12, 1942 in Pauline, a son of the late Roy Hartwell and Hester O’Shields Farmer.  Warren is the husband of Elaine Brown Farmer.

Warren courageously battled the effects of that terrible disease of dementia with the help of his family. He retired from Kohler Company after 41 years of service and was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church where he serves as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher and was an active member of the Senior Adults.

Also surviving is a son, Jeff Farmer (Rebecca Mary); a daughter, Gina Ponder (Danny); grandsons, Nicholas Farmer, Danny Ray Ponder, Berry Ponder and Justin Ponder; a granddaughter, Jessica Duch; a sister, Brenda Compton (L.C.); brothers, Rev. Jimmie Farmer (Jane), Robert Farmer, and Sammy Farmer (Pam); and an uncle, Donald O’Shields.  Warren was predeceased by two sisters-in-law, Gail Brown and Marie Farmer.

The family will receive friends from1:45-2:45 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 2153 Mt. Lebanon Road, Buffalo, SC 29374. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary, conducted by the Rev. Melvin Shelton, Rev. Jeff Farmer and Rev. Jimmie Farmer.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 334 Deep Water Road, Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home.
