Wanda Thompson, 66, died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born November 18, 1948, in Spartanburg she was the daughter of the late Evelyn Franklin Freeman. Wanda was retired as a computer programmer for Centerplate. She was of the Baptist faith and a longtime member of APA pool league and dedicated her life to helping others. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon (Tim) Padgett of Boiling Springs; sons, Tony (BeLinda) Thompson of Cowpens; Charles Thompson, of Boiling Springs; four grandchildren, Drew, Haley, MeLissa and Sammy; three great grandchildren, MiKayla, Brayden and Trinity; three sisters, Mary, Sue and Gin; two brothers, Buddy and Jimmy; along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy. 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Burial will follow Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Good Shepard Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Ave., Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
