Wanda Renee Stegall Phillips

January 24, 1960 — February 2, 2025

Wanda Renee Stegall Phillips passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on January 24, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Ellis Walter and Lois Flynn Stegall. 

She embraced life with her signature spunk and an infectious sense of humor that brightened the days of those around her. Wanda proudly nurtured her family, pouring her heart into everything she did, and everyone she knew.

Throughout her life, Wanda formed deep and lasting connections, including her long-time friend, Dottie Horton, who stood by her side through many seasons of life. Wanda's love extended beyond her family; she had a profound affection for animals, treating them with tenderness and respect. Her faith in Jesus was a guiding force in her life, and she was known as a Godly woman who sought to inspire others through her actions and kindness.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Pamela Ray Bolding (Ethan), Jennifer Ray Black (Chad), Kimberly Ray Taylor (Justin); her sisters, Wendy Oyervides, Tammy Davidson, Dottie Horton; her grandchildren, Abbigail “Abbi” Camp, Addison “Addi” Chastain, Barkley Bolding, Emma Taylor, Braylee “Bebe” Black, Paisley Bolding, Bryce “Bubby” Black, Reese Taylor, Henry “Hank” Bolding, and Mary Beth “Tink-Tink” Black; and her former spouses, John D. Ray, and Marshall Toney.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon “Randall” Phillips; and her sister, Terry McMillan.

Wanda's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly. As we remember her today, let us celebrate the humor she brought into our lives, the warmth of her laughter, and the strength of her unwavering love for her family. Wanda Renee Stegall Phillips was truly one of a kind, and her memory will forever be cherished by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 12:45, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Highway 9 N., Boiling Springs, SC 29316. The funeral service will follow, starting at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park. Officiating the services will be the Rev. Chuck Mullinax.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
