Wanda Harter

Wanda "Honey" Suttles Harter, 64, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Sunday, April 16, 2017, at her home. Born April 29, 1952, in Arcadia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Truman Suttles and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Suttles. Mrs. Harter loved to read and enjoyed bird watching. She retired from Inman Christian Academy where she was a preschool teacher for 16 years. A member of Life Changers Church, she formerly taught Sunday School and served as Nursery Director. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Sammy Jerome Harter; sisters, Sherry Suttles Carter (Pastor David) of Boiling Springs, SC and Dana Elizabeth Suttles of Arcadia, SC; aunt, Barbara Harter Rippy of Union, SC; nieces and nephew, Teresa Carter Seay, Travis David Carter (April), and Joy Carter Chavis (John); 5 great-nephews; 5 great-nieces; one great-great-niece; and special pet dog "Kee Kee". In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Bryan Paul Harter; and brother, Vincent Le Grand Suttles. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Life Changers Church, by Pastor David Carter and Pastor Travis Carter. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Changers Church, 8349 Valley Falls Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
