Wally Rush Alley, 60, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Brookdale Skylyn-Spartanburg surrounded by his loving family. Born November 28, 1955, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late James Raymond and Jessie Mae Rush Alley. An avid Gamecock fan, Mr. Alley coached football and baseball in his younger years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, NASCAR, and was a Mason and member of Glendale Lodge. He was retired from industrial sales technology. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Nancy McMillan Alley; stepdaughters, Dana Summers of Spartanburg, SC and Terry Carlisle (James) of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Savanah "Hanah", and Jesse; brothers-in-law, Steve McMillan and Randy McMillan; and his special Maltese companion, Presley. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Lt. Col. James Alley and infant brother, Raymond Alley. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, June 3, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Richard King.
