Walker Newman

Walker Austin Newman, 74, of Pauline, SC, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born December 30, 1943, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Edgar W. and Fannie Ruth Newman. A U. S. Army veteran, Mr. Newman retired from Duke Power. He was a member of Walnut Grove Methodist Church and received an AS Degree from Spartanburg Technical College. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Angela O'Bryant Newman; daughter, Kelli Newman Adams (Dennis) of Campobello, SC; son, John W. Newman of Pauline, SC; and grandchildren, Austin and Gracie Adams of Campobello, SC. Special thanks to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home and their staff for the kindness and caring shown during his final days. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
