Virginia Bangle Watson, 100, of 400 Webber Road, died Saturday, July 18, 2009, at White Oak Estates. Born December 19, 1908, in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Coit Watson and Blanche Wright Bangle and wife of the late Casper Lee Watson. She was a graduate of Winthrop College and a retired school teacher having taught in Spartanburg District 7, Chesnee, and Reddick, FL. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Fellowship Sunday School Class, and a former member of Second Presbyterian Church in Greenville. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009, in the Chapel at the First Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Susan Moorefield. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Greenville.
