Virginia Willis

Virginia Ann Willis, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, born January 9, 1928, the daughter of the late Charles Wesley Willis and Annie Faye Robinson Willis, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Greenville Memorial Hospital due to illness. Miss Willis was retired from Whitney Yarn Mills and was a member of Thompson Chapel Baptist Church. She loved to spoil her nieces and nephews and enjoyed gardening. Among survivors are her brothers, James Willis of Jesup, GA, and Marshall Lee Willis of Georgia; a sister, Bonnie Helen Farr of Spartanburg, SC; niece and nephew, Ann Bagwell and Tony Farr; and many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Willis and Frankie Willis; and a sister, Irma Adair. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case. Burial will be in Thompson Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, 990 Thompson Chapel Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at their respective homes.
