Virginia Iris Siders, born September 29, 1949, will live in our hearts forever. Iris Siders regretfully passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 10, 2010. Iris was born in Tryon, NC and resided most of her life in Spartanburg, SC. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Curtis H. Johnson. Iris was preceded in death by two brothers, Toy Phillip Harrison and David Tollie Harrison, as well as her daughter, Angila K. Littlefield, who never left her heart. Iris is survived by her loving husband and everlasting friend, Timon Siders; her brother, James Mark Harrison; son, Johnnie Dwayne Littlefield; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was the beloved daughter-in-law of Sonja and Robert Siders of Lilburn, Georgia, and sister-in-law to Tom Siders, Jamie Siders, and Sheryl Speer. Iris owned Gentlemans Quarters Barber Shop in Spartanburg for over twenty years. She loved her customers and friends alike and had a generous spirit which departed to her heavenly home too soon for those of us she left behind. She will be missed in our daily lives but live on in our hearts forever. The memorial service will be held at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, located at 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC. The service will be open to friends and family starting at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 18, in the year of our Lord, 2010 In remembrance of her late daughter, Angila K. Littlefield, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
