Virginia Cohen

Virginia “Jackie” Rogers Cohen, 99, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, June 30, 2022 at her home. Born February 11, 1923, in Union, SC, she was the daughter of the late George Edward and Amberzine Fowler Rogers and was the wife of the late Harry Lincoln Cohen.

Virginia was retired from S&S Manufacturing. She was a member of Carolina Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Eddie Cohen of Colonia, Uruguay, her daughter, Angela Cohen Amos (Randy) of Spartanburg, SC, her grandchildren, Ken Smith, Keith Cohen, Daniel Smith, and Tasha Kile.

Virginia is predeceased by her siblings, George Rogers, Jr., Louise Evans, Grace Austin, Nettie Bell Carter, Willie Mae Burris (Bill) and Jessie Rogers.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The funeral service will be at4:00 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the chapel, conducted by Rev. Marc Williamson. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
