Virginia Cochran

Virginia Blackwell Cochran, 91, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. Born May 26, 1925, in Chesnee, SC, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Dessie Kimbrell Blackwell and widow of Connie Cochran. Survivors include her children, James Cochran (Tammie) and Betty McKelvey, all of Inman, SC; 4 grandchildren, Nancy Brown, Johnny McKelvey, Randy Pike, and Marsha Garrett; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Lucille Cochran; sister, Martha Hall; and son-in-law, Shorty McKelvey. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, February 10, 2017, in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Visitation will be at the graveside.
