Vickie Lou Ott Hall, 76, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Born August 14, 1940, in Salisbury, NC, she was the daughter of the late Hallie Thurston "Joe" Ott and Sarah Lois Lowder Ott. A graduate of Spartanburg High School and Spartanburg Methodist College, Vickie retired from Parker-Hannefin Corporation. She also attended Wofford College and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church as well as the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Surviving are her children, Kimberli H. Kirtsey (Tony) of Inman, SC, Jeffery Scott Hall (Cindy) of Spartanburg, SC, and Tracie H. Hazel of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Nicole McRae (Brett), Ross Hall (Morgan), Justin Hazel, and Jordan Hazel; and great-grandchildren, Savannah, Levi, and Aly Rose. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, David Green Jr. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Inman Mills Baptist Church, by the Rev. Jack E. Hames and eulogist, Tony Kirtsey. Visitation will follow the service at the church.
