Vicki Heckathorne

Vicki Roof Heckathorne, 67, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at her home. Born May 14, 1949, in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Georgeana Shank Roof. A graduate of Belton High School, Belton, Missouri, Mrs. Heckathorne enjoyed painting and decorating. Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Robert Heckathorne; sons, Donavan Turner (Dawn) of Spartanburg, SC and Robert Heckathorne, Jr. of Ringgold, GA; and grandchildren, Lily Grace Turner, Dylan Robert Turner, and Jett Heckathorne. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Donald Roof. Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 AM Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Scott Gilmer.
