In loving memory of Veron Bradley Burnett, affectionately known as “Brad”, who gracefully departed this world after a brief illness. Brad's journey on this Earth came to a peaceful close on April 2, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. Brad was born on September 14, 1956, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to the late Vernon and Roberta Burnett.
Brad’s educational journey culminated in a bachelor's degree from USC Columbia, South Carolina, showcasing his thirst for knowledge and growth. With a career spanning over 40 years at QS/1 as a computer programmer. Brad led a fulfilling life filled with dedication and passion. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brad found solace and joy in various hobbies and interests. From trap shooting at the Gun club to hunting and fishing adventures, camping trips to hiking escapades, and his involvement with Boy Scout Troop #603 - Brad embraced life's adventures with a fearless spirit and infectious enthusiasm. One of Brad's proudest accomplishments was his 23-year marriage to his beloved wife, Deborah.
Brad leaves behind a legacy cherished by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife Deborah; devoted son Colten Burnett; stepdaughters Nicole Collins (Carrol), Ashley Brewer (Adam); precious grandchildren Clarice Carter (Terrence), Cody Collins, Camryn Collins, Ace Brewer; caring sisters Linda Scuderi (Lenny), Mary Glaze (Steve); as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Vernon Burnett and mother Roberta Bradley Burnett.
A visitation will be held at 10:30 am Saturday April 06, 2024, at Glendale Baptist Church located at 1 Church St Glendale, SC 29346, followed by a celebration of Brads life at 11 O'clock service, officiated by Pastor Daniel Blackwell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glendale Baptist Church P.O Box 268 Glendale, SC 29346 or to Boy Scouts of America Troop #603, 310 Emma Cudd Road Spartanburg, SC 29302.
