Vernon Rogers

Vernon Glenn Rogers, 68, of Pauline, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born January 3, 1944, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Clifton H. and Eleanor Barnett Rogers. A veteran of the U. S. Air Force, Mr. Rogers was retired from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his sisters, Patricia "Pat" Smith (Doug) of Pauline, SC, and Denise Holmes (Mark) of Joshua, TX; brothers, Jeff Rogers of Spartanburg, SC, and Keith Rogers of Gaffney, SC. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 31, 2012, in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, by the Rev. Monty King and Mrs. Dee Bowyer. Visitation will be at the graveside.
