Vernon Grant

Vernon Miles Grant, 82, of York, SC, died Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Hospice and Community Care of Rock Hill. Born April 5, 1940 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Cora Mae Lyda Grant.

Vernon was an electrician and member of Electrical Brotherhood (IBEW) Union #379 in Charlotte, NC.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Kroeger Grant of the home; son, Vernon Miles Grant, Jr., daughter, Tammy Lynn Grant; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and his brother, Jerry Grant. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Beatrice Pye and Jimmy Ray Grant.

Visitation will be 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday, September 19, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Graveside service will be at 12:30 pm, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Taylor.
