Vera Crump

Vera Geraldine Hollifield Crump, 80, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at her home. Born March 24, 1935, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Bronson and O. C. Ezell Hollifield. Mrs. Crump, a 1953 Chesnee High School Beauty Queen, was a graduate of Cecil's Business College and a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Survivors include her beloved husband of 62 years, Bobby Crump; daughters, Casey Crump Burnett (Brooks), Kelli Pye and son, Scott Crump, all of Spartanburg, SC; grandson, B. J. Crump (Heather); granddaughters, Courtney Crump Cochran (Joey), Shalyn Crump Klein and Madalyn Burnett; four great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Hutchins of Chesnee, SC; nieces, Beth McKelvy and Lesia Griffen and nephews, Jon Hutchins, Larry Hutchins and S. C. Crump. Services were held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC, conducted by the Rev. Joe Mosley. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials may be made to Dove Assembly Church, 590 Mt.
