Veda Gault

Veda Clubb Gault, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 28, 1914, in Madison County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Henderson Clubb and Tennie Metcalf Clubb and the widow of Worth R. Gault. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Gault was a member of Green Street Baptist Church and retired from Coggins Florist. Survivors include her children, Miriam G. Williams, Alan D. Gault, Sharon G. White (Mickey), W. Richard Gault (Becky), and Barry D. Gault (Gayle); 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Joel R. Gault. Visitation will be 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be private for family members, conducted by Mr. Clary Smith. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or Mobile Meals Service, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
