Uyless Hyder

Uyless Carroll Hyder, 79, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at his home. Born August 8, 1932, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Carroll Hyder and Beatrice Williams Howard. Mr. Hyder was a member of Living Waters Community Church, and worked for Bi-Lo Grocery Store. Survivors include his loving wife, Reba Ann Woods Hyder; children, Carol Bryant and husband Ken, and Eric Hyder, all of Spartanburg; granddaughter, Brittany Woodcock; brother, Gerald Howard of Spartanburg; and sister, Carolyn Steverson of Aiken, SC. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2011, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Frank Bryant. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
