Troy Wallace Jr.

Troy Lee Wallace, Jr., 68, of Moore, SC, died Friday, December 11, 2015, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born March 24, 1947, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Troy Lee Wallace, Sr. and Hazel Creighton Wallace. A U. S. Army Airborne veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Wallace was a member and former Post Commander for VFW Post 9539. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad and was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Survivors include his son, Josh Wallace of Moore, SC; grandchildren, Kylei Wallace and Nathan Lee Wallace, both of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Tobey Wallace of Spartanburg, SC; and sisters, Sandra Kay Brooks of Chesnee, SC and Diane Wood of Lexington, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Jonathan Kyle Wallace. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 17, 2015, in the Dining Hall of VFW Post 9539, 325 Carolina Dr., Roebuck, SC 29376, by the Rev. Sal Barone.
