Tony Bell

Tony Curtis Bell, 58, of Inman, SC passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022. Born to Margie Fay Bostic and the late Larry Curtis Bell, he was married to Teresa Jeanette Jennings Bell.

Tony was an avid golfer since the age of eleven. He was a member of Rutherfordton Country Club, won a number of state golf championships, and traveled to the Masters with his stepfather, Kenneth. He also loved music; his band Val-Halla opened for 38 Special in Myrtle Beach, SC. Tony didn’t have a mean bone in his body, he was the most gentle and loving man to everyone he met. He knew Jesus and was baptized at Friendship Baptist Church. Tony joined The United States Marine Corps in 1981, after graduating from Dorman High School. He was stationed at Camp Lejeune and had the opportunity to travel the world.

Along with his wife and mother, Tony is survived by a son, Hagen C. Bell of Manhattan, NY; step-father, Kenneth Bostic of Inman, SC; siblings, Marsha Walker (Scott) of Rutherfordton, NC and Adam Bostic III (Nicole) of Spartanburg, SC; step-daughter, Kelli Foster (Tyler) of Spartanburg, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his father, Tony was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Nellie and Roy Peeler; and step-grandparents, Kenneth Bostic, Sr. and Margaret.
