Tommy Lewis Sr.

Tommy Gene Lewis Sr., 76, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born April 30, 1941, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Lewis and Gladys Jeanette Griffin Lewis. Mr. Lewis enjoyed restoring antique radios and trains as well as gardening. He attended Cudd Memorial Baptist Church and was formerly employed with Harley Bag Company. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Kay Greene Lewis; children, Tommy Lewis Jr. and David Scott Lewis (Teri), all of Spartanburg, SC, Debbie Siderio (Chris) of Powhatan, VA, and Jennifer Halverson (Sam) of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Laverne Jennings of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church with funeral services following at 11:00 AM, conducted by The Rev. Dusty Martin and The Rev. Ronnie Norris. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
