Tom Loftin

Tom Loftin, 88, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 2, 1933 in Morristown, TN, he was the son of the late Weldon and Lela Cox Loftin.

A US Army veteran, Tom was a retired truck driver with Southern Distributors, and formerly of Dickies Uniform. He earned his associate degree from Robinson Business College. He was of the Baptist faith. Tom raised peacocks and took care of many deer.

A loving man, he is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and brother, Jack Loftin. He was also predeceased by his seven siblings.

Visitation will be 2:30 – 3:30 PM Friday, November 26, 2021, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Funeral service will be at 3:30 PM at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Mike Gettys. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
