Thomas Brockman Anderson, 83, of 2004 Moore-Duncan Highway, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at McCall Hospice House. Born January 15, 1927 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Thomas Brockman Anderson, Sr. and Irene Geer Anderson and the husband of the late Jacqueline Newcomer Anderson. He was founder and owner/operator of Needmoore Dairy for over 50 years and was a member of Maryland-Virginia Milk Producers Association. He was a former member, elder, and Sunday School teacher at Nazareth Presbyterian Church and served in the same capacities at Centerpoint Presbyterian Church. He also attended and supported Cleveland Park Bible Church. Mr. Anderson was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II having served with the occupation forces in Japan. Survivors include two daughters, Jeanne Anderson Camby of Greenville and Carol Anderson Musselman (Harry) of Duncan; two sons, Chris Anderson (Gloria) of Moore and Jack Anderson (Janis) of Summerville; fourteen grandchildren, Meredith Camby Hartman (Chris), Elizabeth Camby, Harrison, Caroline, Victoria, Annalise, Charlton, and Reagan Musselman, Christa Anderson Pomerlyan (Serge), Bonnie Anderson Shishko (Nathaniel), Hannah Grace Anderson, Brandon Lutes (Carrie), Megan Lutes, and Ashlynn Anderson; and two sisters, Martha A. Young of Newberry and Clara A. Collins of Clinton. He was predeceased by three brothers, Phillip Anderson, Joseph Lee Anderson, and Michael Geer Anderson. Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, August 27, 2010, at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Gloria Anderson, 1956 Moore-Duncan Highway, Moore, SC. Visitation will also be held prior to the service from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the Church Fellowship Hall at Nazareth Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Ken Casillas and the Rev. Dr. David Utter. Burial with military rites will follow in the Church Cemetery.
