Thomas Williams Iii

Thomas George Williams III, 79, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, September 19, 2022 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 5, 1943 in Sewickley, PA, he was the son of the late Ann Elizabeth Whitmore.

A US Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Williams was retired from New York Telephone (now Verizon), after 30 years of service. He was a member of Episcopal Church of the Advent and Telephone Pioneers of America.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Janice Ann Barrow Williams; his son, Gregory Alfred Williams (Shannon) of Chesnee, SC; his siblings, Elizabeth Finger (Jim) of Fishkill, NY, Karen Guerra of Plymouth, MA, Jeff Miller (Peach) of Myrtle Beach, SC and John Miller of West Virginia; along with several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be 11:00 am Friday, October 7, 2022 at The Episcopal Church of the Advent, 141 Advent Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302, conducted by The Rev. Paula Griffin.
