Thomas White Jr.

Thomas Clyde "TC" White, Jr., 92, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 17, 1924, in Jonesville, SC, he was the son of the late Thomas Clyde White, Sr. and Eva Gregory White. A U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. White was a member of Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church, a Shriner and member of Fairforest-Arcadia Masonic Lodge. He retired from McKesson Chemical Corporation and was formerly employed with Laney Tank Lines and Freeman Gas. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Leoma Elizabeth Billings White; son, Thomas Michael "Mickey" White (Sharon) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Michael Todd White of Spartanburg, SC and Timothy Kevin White (Brandi) of Roebuck, SC; great-grandchildren, Hunter Blake White, Dustii Osteen, Addison Osteen, and Rhyan Osteen; sisters, Marguerite Harvey of Union, SC, Doris White of Jonesville, SC, and Patty Hoyle of Pacolet, SC; and brother, Lewis White of Pacolet, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Charles Wayne White; and siblings, Evelyn Robinson, Mildred Barkley, Keith White, and Lee Ila Pearson. A graveside service, with military rites, will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, May 22, 2017, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Scott S.
