November 20, 1927 — February 9, 2011

Thomas B. Page Jr., 83, of Boiling Springs, quietly accepted the hand of Christ and stepped into His Kingdom on Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Born November 20, 1927, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Thomas B. Sr. and Mattie Pauline Poteat Page. We rejoice in his healing but he will be missed terribly by his loved ones. Tom was devoted to his family and his Lord, Jesus Christ. He was a member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg. Survivors include his beloved wife of 63 joyful years, Betty McBride Page; a daughter, Carolyn P. Phillips and her husband Donald R. of Hixson, TN; a son, David G. Page and his wife Karen M. of Knoxville, TN; a granddaughter, Jennifer P. Bivins and her husband James of Hixson, TN; two great-granddaughters, Sara Beth and Graceann Bivins; two sisters, Margaret Buchanan and her husband Curtis O. of North Augusta, SC and Doris Ann Moss of Spartanburg; a brother, Steve W. Page of Spartanburg; three nieces, Tammy Lewis, Lane Anthony, and Pam Thomas; four nephews, Neil Buchanan, Del Moss, Tommy Page and Dan Thomas; a sister-in-law, Peggy M. Thomas. He was predeceased by a grandson, Donald Kevin Phillips. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Peter A. Waid. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your church or a charity of one's choice.
