Thomas Huesman

Thomas "Tom" Patrick Huesman, 69 of Inman, SC died Monday, January 18, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 18, 1951 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late Joseph Huesman and Charles and Kathryn Patterson Gribble. A graduate of Ft. Myers Senior High School Class of 1970, Mr. Huesman was a retired school bus driver with Spartanburg School District #7. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, traditional holidays, gardening, encouraging children, camping, fishing, animals, smiling, was proud of his marriage and was a strong man of faith. Mr. Huesman also enjoyed doing charity work with the Soup Kitchen, Knights of Columbus, Multiple Sclerosis, and The March of Dimes. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 43 years Laura Lee Carney Huesman; children, Jason Huesman (Sheri) of Boiling Springs, SC, Hillary Mayo (Tom) of Moore, SC and Jennifer Loftis (Lee) of Inman, SC; grandsons, Keenan Loftis and Neil Loftis; brother, Robert Huesman (Nancy and family) of Midlothian, VA; the family of William Huesman of Jacksonville, FL and brother-in-law, Michael Carney (Sonia and family) of Crossville, TN. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, William Huesman. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, January 25, 2021 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 290 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303 conducted by The Rev. David R. Whitman. The family requests attendees wear facial coverings and practice social distancing.
