Thomas Norris

Thomas H. "Bob" Norris, 67, of Cowpens, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Born January 4, 1943 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late James Franklin and Hulda Bradley Norris. He was a former truck driver, a U. S. Air Force veteran, and a member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Norris; a daughter, Sonya Webb and husband Brian of Chesnee; a son, Brad Norris and wife Holly of Cowpens; two brothers, Jim Norris of Proctorville, OH and Bill Norris of Spartanburg; two sisters, Lottie Ravan and Frankie Wright, both of Spartanburg; four grandchildren, Ethan, Jacob, Landon, and Kalyn. He was predeceased by three sisters, Becky Brunette, Libby Estes and Mary Lane; and a brother, J. C. Norris. Visitation will be 12:30 PM to 2:45 PM Friday, July 9, 2010 at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the Church, conducted by the Rev. Tim Hackett, the Rev. John Cox and the Rev. Carlton Hames. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Fairview Free Will Baptist Church Mission Fund, 2058 Chesnee Highway, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
